The Hollywood couple have been spotted showing off their new wedding bands after they exchanged vows on the Spanish party island in front of friends and family.
The Prometheus star and his new bride have yet to officially confirm the nuptials, but they were spotted showing off their wedding bands on Sunday. The sighting sparked reports the couple tied the knot on Saturday.
Michael, 40, was spotted with a gold band on his left hand during a meal at a waterfront restaurant, and Alicia, 29, was also sporting a new piece of jewellery on her wedding finger. They were dining with friends and family at what appeared to be a post-wedding brunch.
The Sun exclusively revealed the pair’s plans to wed in a secret ceremony on the party island. Hollywood star Michael, 40, is paying for the entire wedding party to stay at a five-star resort. They kept details of the ceremony a closely guarded secret, only telling guests when to arrive in Ibiza. A source previously said: “The details of the party are being kept under lock and key. “Guests have been told to arrive in Ibiza on a certain date and they will then be collected and taken to the hotel. He’s splashing out big time and it’s going to be the party of the year.”
The couple met on the set of film The Light Between Oceans in 2014. Irish actor Michael has remained tight-lipped about the romance, but confirmed in an interview last year: “It just happened. It’s good that it happened. It is what it is.”
